(Extended Unique Identifier-48) расширенный уникальный идентификатор, система нумерации [сетевых адресов] EUI-48одна из схем адресации устройств в локальных сетях Ethernet и Token Ring, применяемая IEEE. Состоит из двух 24-битовых полей, первое из которых, Company ID, содержит уникальный идентификатор производителя сетевого оборудования (OUI), а значение второго поля, Extension ID (также Board ID), назначается самим производителем. (Extended Unique Identifier-68) расширенный уникальный идентификатор, система нумерации [сетевых адресов] EUI-64расширение схемы адресации устройств EUI-48, в котором размер поля Extension ID увеличен до 40 битов (5 октетов), что позволяет производителю иметь около одного триллиона уникальных номеров для идентификации устройств.
